A lot of the printing problems that I see over here are because the ink has dried out through lack of use. Do a test page once a week to keep things moving.

TEST PAGE

This is easy if you know how- I'm going to give you one method that will work for all Windows operating systems and all printers.

Left click the start button, find control panel (normally on the right menu)

Now you need to find the Printer section

Open up the printer section and highlight your installed printer by left clicking once. Now right click and at the bottom of the menu click properties. Select print test page from the tab at the bottom of this property page, this will keep the ink flowing.

PS When installing don't attach a USB printer before you have installed the drivers
